I was in Ms. Tinars Avari's class in 1979-80 (I was in class 4) and absolutely adored her. She and I corresponded for over ten years after I left school and somehow I lost touch. hi i studied in pms from 68 to 74 then i was ila pathak my fav teacher was penelope pearson who was our class teacher in 7&8std i stil cherish those lovely moments with her .i am in delhi ,i would love if any of my batch mates contact me i remember sharmila bose,sue won chin,yasmin dean,bittu anand,rita sampat, ila ghose, i remebber all my class mates cause i have my class photo with me
Does anybody remember the time when Veronika Bithika Ghosh was the principal of the school? She was shabby at her job and however sentimental we want to get, she took our school on a downward spiral. Isn’t it shocking that even today, when social media is the buzz, PMS still does not have a website?? It buggs me to no end to see how our school just refuses to change/upgrade itself with time.
Anyhow I was a classmate of Sanchari Choudhury, Antara Choudhury’s (Salil Choudhury’s daughters) younger sister, I would love to touch base with Sumana Mitra, Kakoli Bannerjee, Papiya Sirkar, Sanchari and Sharmisthat Gupta. I passed ISC from PMS in 1990.
O and just to add some clarity, my maiden name was Aditi Chakravorty, I was fair & fat.

This is a blast from the past. I attended PMS during the last 1940s. Ms Lawrence was the Principal and I spent a great deal of time under the clock in the hall opposite her office. At the time, this was the punishment for bad behavior so that passersby could be duly shocked at your shameful presence. Is this still so?

I remember teachers like mrs sen, mrs bose, our chemistry teacher whome we called `chingri', mrs sengupta, principals mrs pearson, mrs V.B.Ghosh. Really those were the days. I am from the 86-87 batch and had the pleasure of being mentored by teachers like Mrs. Sen (English), Mrs. Mondal (Biology), Mrs. Sengupta (Physics), Mrs.Dattagupta ( Bengali), our prinicopal was Mrs. V.B. Ghosh the ladies hubby was an ex-tea estate manager and an alcoholic with 3 daughters. Mrs.sen albeit her temper was an extremely good teacher. Realize it now. Mili I remember your beautiful drawings...do you still paint your scenaries. I loved our art teacher Mrs. Banerjee. My batchmates were Liji george, shipra nandy, mita desai, kajal tandon, anindita chaterjee, sangita ghosh, debjani ghosh, nandita das, ananya saha, Raina nandy, baiju sanyal, rumjhumi biswas, janice williamson, jaba bhattacharya, letticia attick, rinku choudhury, anuradha sain, purba biswas, I miss the "jhal chips" the "amchur" and those lovely schoolfete's at St. Pauls Cathedral and the sports day at St. James Ground and the School Theatre at Kala Mandir.
